Victory Day is a national holiday in Bangladesh on 16 December. On this day in 1971, the Pakistani army surrendered to the Indo-Bangladesh in Dhaka high command, which ended on 9 per month in Bangladesh and the Bangladesh Liberation War of 1971 atrocities. General AAK Niazi, the officer in command of the Pakistani forces in East Pakistan troops surrendered to Lieutenant General Jagjit Singh Aurora, Commander of the Allied troops.


This victory was achieved on the West Pakistani troops engaged in the nine-month genocide of East Pakistanis in what is now known as Bangladesh. It was genocide, because it was a planned extermination of men, women and children in East Pakistan. Victory Day Bangladesh is a day of excellence for every Bangladeshi people.


Victory Day is a common name for many different holidays in different countries to victories in major battles or wars in countries commemorate history.The December 16, 1971 is a momentous day in our national history. It was on this day we would have our independence after a war of life and liberation of the death of nine long months. This victory was a victory for right against wrong.
